New cafe open

We are now proud to be able to provide a new range of products under the rebranded Magnitude name.

LETTER TO ALL VALUED CLIENTS AND CUSTONERS OF CANTERBURY REFRESHMENTS LTD. AND MAGNITUDE CAFÉ LTD.  JUNE 2016

Last week I was privileged to spend a few days in our new premises at 314 Tuam St, and experience the warm welcoming atmosphere of our new Café, Magnitude Café, which is alongside Canterbury Refreshments. Many customers, friends, and patrons were extremely complementary about our new venture, and we must give credit to our staff who have worked so hard to earn this complement

Gerard van Rooy has had no easy task since our family bought the company in 2010, not knowing that 2 months later we would be hit with a devastating earthquake and lose over half our customers. Gerard has worked tirelessly since then to try regain what we lost and it has been no mean effort in which to do so. However with our bright new premises, we look forward to a successful new future, and hope we can supply all your wants in an efficient and acceptable manner.

Thank you for your perseverance to date and long may our business relationship remain.

MAGNITUDE CAFÉ, This new venture will give many patrons the opportunity to sample our fine products. We have had over 40 years’ experience  in the hospitality industry and we want to be a good neighbour to all surrounding businesses as well as an attraction to the people of Christchurch, their friends, visitors, and all those from beyond.

Our new staff, Jemma and Samantha, are keen to make you welcome, and already have earned a reputation of being warm, friendly, hostesses, offering an excellent range of good, wholesome and tasty food, made and or prepared on the premises.

Their skills in making top class coffees, teas, and other beverages, hot and cold, have brought many complements from those who have savoured the experience of calling in.

We convey to them our congratulations in demonstrating their skills in such a short space of time, and hope you will be more than satisfied when you find time to call and enjoy our Café.

Thank you for taking tine in reading this brief newsletter, and we again thank you in anticipation for continued patronage, and look forward to the pleasure of your company. If you have reason to suggest as to how we may improve our service to you we welcome your suggestions and ideas to help us in our quest to be not the biggest but the best in our field.

 Sincerely,

David Humphrey, and all of us at Canterbury Refreshments Ltd and Magnitude Café Ltd
